Paul began his insurance career in 1978, joining the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. After growing up in a family business, he used his experience to begin assisting business owners with their employee benefit needs. His individual practice has grown into one of the leading employee benefit organizations in the region.

His innovative and custom designed benefit plans help companies seek the proper balance between the corporate financial objectives and the important human needs of the employees. Paul works with owners and senior management to develop a strategic vision to help attract and retain valuable human resources in a very competitive environment. Nearly all companies are faced with health care cost increases which outpace the Consumer Price Index. Through a combination of funding mechanisms, wellness initiatives, effective communications and consumer driven healthcare, Paul has been able to assist clients with controlling costs. His unique concept of empowering employees to become stakeholders in the process has received rave reviews.

A Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Paul currently serves on broker advisory committees of several major insurance carriers. He is a member of the Association of Health Insurance Agents and the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters. A Western Michigan University graduate, Paul has been quoted as an employee benefits expert in publications such as Money Magazine, The St. Louis Business Journal, and The St. Louis Post-Dispatch and Commerce Magazine.
